Champions League Format The Apex Champions League is Apex Soccer's elite competition. Just like the real European Champions League Apex's version is contested by the top club's from all the different Apex Soccer Leagues. The Apex Champions League normally takes a year to complete with the group stages starting in August or September and expected to culminate in the Grand Final the following June or July. Over 150 of the best teams in Apex Soccer enter to find who would be crowned THE best manager and THE best club in all the Apex Soccer Leagues! The 156 teams are split into 26 groups of 6. The top 2 in each group qualify for the 2nd round along with 12 clubs who were the best 3rd placed teams. From then on the games played are straight knockout games over home and away legs, including the Grand Final.
